I had an administrator walk thru today - he stayed about 10 minutes. I requested it. There's a lot of good learning going on in my classroom and I want them (the admin) to know it!

awesome I'd never request a walk through, I just get too stressed out for that since alot of my class' success is based on following procedures and skill processes more than demonstrating learning. I mean to me kids learn about art the best when they fail at a project and then learn from it. But try and explain that to the administrator when he/she walks into your class room and johnny is having a melt down and you have 18 Kindergarteners running around with paint on their hands
