It does, on very, very rare occasions get that cold. And no, I'm not originally from Texas, so I know all about building snowmen, sledding, wearing wet mittens, getting your socks wet when the snow gets inside your boots, two-foot long icicles, and the perpetual drippy nose. Winters in south Texas are much easier to take. It's the summers that will kill you.
