also i have to agree with Jel about ^ SGA S1-3 maybe S4 seemed like it was more for kids coming home after school.

It was by votes. I think people has nostaglia for SGA and then wanted oldest. SGU was most recent. I would have preferred SG1 then SGA then SGU just as it was shown before. Thankfully, Firefly ended and SGA had some delays so SG1 and SGA will not be that far apart. When SGA ends, SGU and SG1 will finish up after.
