I never could stand CHIPS. There was just something about the dark haired cop that made me want to hit his face with a baseball bat every time I saw it.

Yeah. He was kinda smug and cocky. It chilled him out a bit after he wrecked on set and almost got killed. Of course, there was too much bad blood already. The other dude was supposed to be the star, but Estrada was too popular for that to happen the way it was supposed to.

Are you talking about Estrada? I think that was his jerk personality seeping into his character. I saw that when I was I think, 8 or 9 years old on the TV. It was the first police show I ever watched. I was too young to notice anything like that so I can't really speak to their punchableness. I have never gone back to rewatch that show.
