Depends on the fish. A lot of the freshwater fish where I live are not much bigger than a squirrel if at all

But then you have to consider how much of the body weight is bone, fat and muscle, Fish generally don't have fur.

Even if they're the same size, you can probably eat more of the fish than you can the squirrel.
