Ok, more ranting about the effects of aging.

Beautiful day here, not to hot/humid, so I decide to that the boat I bought earlier this year and have been fixing up (it needed mech. work on the drive system) out.

Anchored about 200' off a local beach, about 4 feet of water. Park boat, over the side for a swim. First time I've done this in 25 years or so.

And found myself unable to pull myself back up the swim ladder on the back.

Dammit if I didn't have to walk / swim forward, lift the anchor and let it drift back into shallower water so I could push up off the bottom to climb up the swim ladder.

PH: How are you coming with that rejuvenation serum in that evil lab of evil?

This is hard. I know, I had to pull myself up the ladder of the boat after swimming this summer as well, not an easy task. But there are some ladders that are longer and maybe you can get a longer ladder, it will help. Also, don't even try to jet ski because pulling yourself up on one of those after falling off....yeah not fun.

What we need is some kind if swim elevator. I've got this pulley system to lift you up. The kind they use to rescue beached whales
