Ok so yeah that brings up a good point... I would like all you guys advice on just what flirting is.... hmmm I seem to have a certain male friend who doesn't seem to understand what flirting is....so would you say these things below would constitute flirting?

1. Calling someone by a "pet name"
2. Telling them they have no faults or you couldn't imagine them having any faults
3. Asking them if you are special to them.


So what do you think?

It sounds more of hitting on someone and pickup lines. If it was one of those three I might call it flirting but not all three

no flirting is testing the waters...throwing lots of sexually charged compliments out there to see if you get a bite or not that's flirting..... you are talking about making out When you get to the physical contact phase that is no longer flirting that is making out

Pet name, ok, I can see that *sorta* like flirting.
Telling them they have no faults, of if they are "special", that's NOT flirting, that's like hitting a 2 bagger and trying for third.
Flirting (IMHO, rusty though it is), is all about suggestion and innuendo.
