well wasn't it though Michelle Obama's initiative to do this? Maybe they just took it to the extreme but that is just crazy there.....and well I know we are increasingly worried more and more about giving kids candy because there are so many food allergies now...this is what I'm preaching on now...is the frelling Genetically modified foods ....look at what it's doing to our kids...this generation...most kids now either have asthma, food allergies or some GI issues... this GM foods are KILLING US ... and it's in EVERYTHING!! If you have GM corn then you make corn syrup with it... corn this and corn that... I mean you are literally going to spread that genetically freak of nature around and it's causing leaky gut syndrome and all sorts of learning disabilities and such. I can remember years ago there were maybe a handful of kids with asthma and allergies....today there are more kids with allergies than without it seems It's getting crazy.. *steps off soap box* Ok so back to the candy..this is why we give the kids the candy but tell them to put it away and eat it after school... and they usually are ok with that. It's the satisfaction of getting the candy that is important sometimes
