Indeed, tracphones are great, I've gone through three of them, first one got dunked in the pool, second one goto a spin in the washer, then got my newest one that is a exact match to the first one. One of those Matrix looking phones. Got about 600 minutes on it still I think. though I like the iPhones, just not the two year agreement plan that's like USD300 just to activate the phone

I understand. The trend of cell phones is really all about saving up for the plan in advance if you really want a smartphone badly enough or otherwise finding a cheaper solution that works for you. I know this because my job is to sell cell phones to businss people. Iphone is a good product for most consumers but is too simplistic for everything I do at work and on my personal time too. I use Android which was made by Linux and is now operated by Google because it' s more customizable.
