Sometimes.. I was given lots of them after I had surgery to remove kidney stones. But none when I had lithotripsy (twice) a few months later after the stones started to come back..

The last time I went for lithotripsy a couple of years ago they wanted to give my morphine I told them to just get on with it and that I had done it before with no pain killers at all and it wasn't that bad..

They just give you a weeks worth of oxycodine. I stretch it out to wean myself off and not ever get addicted to them.

I did that once It was fun I was in the hospital for two weeks.. and being on a ward full of kids all day is boring

When I cut my leg they offered me pain killers.. but it didn't even hurt
