The inner London accent was almost indecipherable. The others were no problem. The locals though around Hereford it was hit or miss.

No, it also depends on the area you are from......................I undestand some of the accents, but some just make you want to scream. "Mick, Mick, speak English"

I was including all areas. If i know what someone is talking about, i have no problems with their accents. I can make myself clearly understood, but if i start chatting about the slug, tin man, the roundabout, the city, smokers (gone now), the ferns and such, it will all become quite confusing.

I think the Irish thick brogues and the Russian accents are the hardest to understand. I have a tech dude that is Russian he is great but I am constantly having to ask him to repeat himself. I hate doing that, it makes me feel rude.

I find those quite easy to understand. I've worked with alot of Poles and Russians and had no problem understanding them.

I guess it is all about where you grew up at. Most in my company cannot understand a bloody word he is saying most of the time.
