I had a Cat once called 'Earl' she was a great cat. But she went out one day and didn't come back. I haven't had a pet since then.

I am away at work for a least 14 hours a day. So having a cat or a dog is out of the question.

a cat would be perfect SF - they sleep 20 hours a day - they could keep you awake the few hours you get to sleep!

You're Texan, or at least you are one now, what do you think of Maize tortillas? Do you eat tortillas cold? What about spicy stuff?

corn tortillas are good - and quite essential for certain applications. You cannot make enchiladas without them! There's nothing like a chicken puffy taco either. Just hot with butter and salt is good too. I don't much care for tortillas cold. They have so much more flavor when heated. Spicy is good. There is a difference between spicy and crazy hot though. I like spicy, but just hot for it's own sake is no good - you don't get the flavor that way.

Cat sleeps while you are gone, loves you for a bit, and goes back to sleep.
