#1 -- Democrat side continually threw NO votes back at the Republican side during the night of September 30, 2013, especially during the last six hours before midnight, when October 1, 2013 began and opened up the lines for the healthcare (dot) gov site to sign in anyone willing or begrudgingly attempting to get their *mandatory* healthcare insurance -- lest they suffer from that nasty threat of being penalized.
At midnight, according to one radio report (heard on one of those "talk" radio shows), the scenario was reminding listeners that the image went this way--
The Republicans showed up for the meeting to cast votes, and the entire Democratic side walked out or ended up in a NO-SHOW. That was the Democrat side's way of basically saying,
*No. You (Reps) won't vote for this insurance deal, therefore, YOU (Reps) are shutting off your end of the gov't. Until you come to terms with OUR side and OUR way, these negotiations are closed, will remain CLOSED, and in essence--the gov't will remain shut down until you give in to OUR "bill"...*
So, the blame is being shifted entirely to the Republicans.
...
So, for anyone who thinks this situation will be short-lived, here's another article reinforcing the potential length -- in weeks
Spoiler:"House Republicans say shutdown likely to drag on""
By Deirdre Walsh, Senior Congressional Producer
updated 11:38 AM EDT, Sat October 5, 2013 (cnn. com)
"Washington (CNN) -- Many House Republicans concede the government shutdown likely won't be resolved until the next major congressional deadline in mid-October when Congress needs to raise the nation's debt ceiling."
(more of the article is at CNN)
WORLD-- you'd all just better start picking up after yourselves and get on with life without relying on the USA. We've basically been neutralized. Tasered? Dead in the water. yadda, yadda, yadda. Unless both/all sides blaming each other for neutering, etc., get their ----z together, nothing at the top level will be moving.
Three ring circuses in nearly every corner.
Prelude to the World gov't soon to take over..?? ..solar flares didn't cause any of this either
Default? what's that? several people both on radio and in news blog comments said that the USA Taxpayers AND business Corporations, etc., are STILL paying their taxes into the system, so where is the default? All that money into the TAX system goes straight to the gov'ts (State AND Federal). It's *supposedly* there, and yet even more comes in when the IRS collects at the April 15th deadline.
Here's another gem of an item. If certain PTB don't want people running around thinking up conspiracy theories, then for goodness sakes, don't let anything provide any *bait* into such thinking in the first place! Right now, it's the dreaded USA economic "DEFAULT".. hmmm... is that like a giant foreclosure thingy? USA already in trillion dollar doo-doo debts, and our wonderful gov't leaders want to raise it more?? as in higher? by how much? another million or trillion? Sure, how high is the sky?
Why allow any drama in causing Americans (and anyone else in the world) to gasp in uncertainty and horror, until the last midnight hour??
To be or NOT to be..?? that is the age-old question.
Apparently, so far, it seems the answer is "NOT to be." Definitely, not a world governing power!
The whole world is a stage.. and we apparently are its (unwilling or willing) acting participants.
anywho..
wow. Typical.. typical democrats.
As much as they blame the Republican/House (Congress) for the current gov't situation/mess, the Dems are just as much to blame--with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid right there at the top, too. And President Obama basically *vowed* he would NOT sign anything the House had to offer, unless it was in line with his *agenda* (paraphrased "my way or the highway"). Nevermind what Cruz said, focus on who is saying what NOW--all talk, no action on which side..?? and Action being -- support this bill, or else personas blocking it are causing to keep the gov't SHUT-down. Basically, that means, the real workers are sent home to twiddle their thumbs, and the ones in the actual offices simply don't answer their phones. Try calling up an agency.. only to get answering machines. Talk about getting nowhere. How many cogs in the wheel have gotten clogged so far?
Too many.
If Congress has been busy making proposals even before October 1 until now, and --even with direct COMPROMISE-- every single one of those items has been rejected (thus, the excuse of keeping the gov't shut-down)--when the President declares outright that he would refuse to (will NOT) sign anything the "House" (Congress) had to offer, it is the President who has just as much shut down all efforts of opening up an effective, operating gov't -- not the ones sending in the proposals and (it's Not Congress) being accused of stalling efforts. The stalling is on the Senate/executive side, not Congress.
The world is laughing at America right now.
World-- get your wits together and start getting self-sufficient without America. Go explore the moon and other planets. Sore to the heavens and see the galaxy and beyond. Right now, those who might want to help, cannot. Those who have the power to do so, won't, because they're too busy blaming it on someone else.
And the latest news is.. DEFAULT Concerns..
another "Let's blame Congress!" (again) issue--

How to watch (generic) your stocks drop bit by bit or all at once, and any 401 retirement plan go bye-bye..!
So much for the ability to retire and rest comfortably for the remaining few years of one's life. Oh, (maybe we forgot) that was for our parents, whom most are now gone. Seems life in the USA will be returning back to the ancient peasant world where workers worked until they dropped in the field, to a more permanent retirement -- known as 6 feet down.

So, if a country doesn't pay its debt (by a certain time limit), the money will be confiscated directly one way or another. It didn't say "who" would be targeted (individual persons or general governing system).
And on October 16, 2013, the Senate (finally went into action, but to do what??? ---) added / increased our USA debt (ceiling) limit to another 2 billion dollars above what its previous amount was as of September 30, 2013. It was immediately approved of and signed by President Obama.
The next increase (debt ceiling) is expected in January-February 2014. Just what we lower rungs of the financial taxpaying ladder folks need (sarcasm?!). History repeats itself, usually not for the better.. That's what the big *concern* is, at the moment, with some folks.
