I've been reading over and over that people are getting tired of the "yes we will, no we won't" mind games --especially in the area of the
Affordable Health bill, knicknamed *ObamaCare*.

People are tired of the seemingly continuous tug of war news over this whole thing.
Either pass it or drop it. PERIOD.
Stop the endless torture of waiting.

And while (the gov'ts) they're at it, admit that the whole world is going to be involved in a one-world everything.. hmmm.. that's a whole nuther entity / story, tho..

According to several reports, several companies have already either dropped their FULL time employees down below the part-time minimum, just so they don't have to pay for the insurance benefits (to *full* time employees).

I have a relative who said the folks at the top controlling her and her coworkers office has opted out of insurance, and dropped their current insurance --but providing it only for the person at the top of the staff-- because they can't afford to pay out for everyone staffed any more.. or some bizarre excuse similar to that.
Mild translation, my relative and most of her coworkers are screwed to find on their own time and money, and pay for their OWN insurance, because that's what their superiors have decided to enforce into policy.

Seems like the Dems/Senate AND President Obama who declared the gov't would shut down, since they *refused* to sign anything offered from the Rep/Congress side, and still continue not budging from anything offered by the Rep/Congress side.
BOTH sides are really at fault.

USA gov't shut down midnight Tuesday, because as the Democrats are blaming the Republicans for not budging, it was the Democrats (Senate controlled Dems) who refused to budge or compromise on the so-called
ObamaCare -- Affordable Health Care (ACA or AHCA) that was set up THREE years ago to go into full operation October 1, 2013.

Dems/Senate (and President Obama) wants the ACA to go into full effect AS IS, NO CHANGES whatsoever, while the Reps/Congress side wants certain items amended. Who's throwing the tizzy fits?
Well, news reports from about 6pm Monday (Sept.30, 2013) onward up thru midnight stated whatever the Dems/Senate received to amend, they voted
NO. NO. NO. NO. NO!!!
Took only a few minutes for the Senate to vote NO, etc.
While the Reps/Congress drafted new revisions thruout the entire night.

So, the USA gov't shut down its *non-essential* portions of employees and space, and continues to refuse to vote for any Reps/Congress amendments or bills or anything, UNTIL the Reps/Congress VOTE to side with the Dem/Senate way of doing things.

Who is throwing the tizzy fit, now? Dems refused to show up/vote for anything the Reps offered after midnight Tuesday, Oct.1,2013.
Sounds like a bunch of temper tantrums in action.
And now some news reports are coming in, stating that some Reps are defecting from their Republican side and switching over to the Dems side.. just to get votes passed?
Really.. were they ever genuine Reps at all, or just in name only, not in actual deed..?

And unless the Dems get the majority votes passed for getting their own way in whatever they are attempting to pass into law/action, regulation, etc., since this is going to end up with what seems to be a paralyzed Congress side, what is the point in having the 3 branches of gov't any more at this point..?

As for the marketplace health exchange, the (USA) gov't has had THREE years to prep and test their systems, and knew the website
(healthcare . gov) would crash, depending on certain traffic flows.
Now, They're blaming it on who??

Oh, and all those folks who thought they were getting FREE health care -- how are they getting it if they have to PAY for signing up for the insurance exchanges in the first place, especially if they do NOT have the finances to begin with?? Lots of phone calls were heard via radio programs claiming once they actually got thru the healthcare exchange site, they signed up with some insurance company and found out they had to pay $$ amount for their healthcare plan just to sign up, and then pay out of pocket (more) first to reach a certain (extremely high) deductible (say $10,000.00 --maybe for a family plan) before any monies would be offset by the insurance company as co-payment in certain situations.
How is that FREE..?

The LAW was passed 3 years ago, the Reps have been arguing against it for YEARS.
Even if they wanted to fix it, they were told NO by the reps.

The Democrats are not at fault at all in regards to the faux-government shutdown. There is absolutely no obligation on them to offer anything, they're being held to ransom by an insane sect of another party over legislation that was passed ages ago. Imagine if they budged even an inch? The Tea Party would be able to pull this nonsense every time a budget rolls around - and that ain't democracy.

I love divided government. Conservative or Liberal, things always get worse when one party controls the full senate and executive branch.

There are is enough GOP that want to cross the floor that a clean bill will pass and the govt will go back to work.

However the speaker of the house, John Boehner has to put the bill forwards and he isn't doing that for fear that Tea Party will be incensed and go after him like mad bulls.

What I find amazing is the sheer stupidity and pig headedness at the moment watching all this. One small group like the Tea Party can hold an entire nation to ransom because of ideology. They don't want social reform. It's so damn obvious.
