I am opposed to gun control. Though people do tend to start buying guns and bullets like mad when they do hear a 'whiff' of such a bill. I understand the premise of your argument but not exactly the point.

If you suggest a bill limiting guns, there will be a furor because you have the "right to bear arms", and you are limiting that freedom, but beyond that, WHY do you need a gun for? To stay safe because the police are "failing" on thier "war on crime"??

You folks often "live in fear", and sometimes with (IMHO) good reason, but really, to an outsider, it really does look like you create 9 out of 10 problems yourselves.

I will be more then happy to do so but why does it matter? Should people own guns because they are lovable fluffy bunnies in the world? And I have a sneaking suspcision that all the good reasons that I will come up with aren't considered good at all and will be dismissed. IDK maybe I am just overly bitter about the intellectual capacity of the people on the internetz.
