Not correct. There's a difference between describing a process and passing a value judgement. Yours is a particularly lazy and insidious kind of value judgement here. The logic goes "I can't be bothered with investigating causes; if two people are fighting, punish both of them because fighting is bad". Obviously, such logic encourages aggression, especially of the asymmetric kind.

Strange how we seem to forgive it when it is "ours". We even like to position "our" group as the victim.

We're still very very far away from creating an actual new species, but my guess is that it won't be an organic one.

We're in the baby steps of humanity's Genetic Age where we learn to rewrite our genes and modify them. Then comes the chaos and "interesting times" ahead. If anything science fiction should be a cautionary tale because many stories have been written about the misuse of such things.

I don't even think we should be screwing with this stuff. Didn't Khan come to be as a result of humanity's attempts to create a master race? And of course, that reference to Hitler was intentional.

I don't want to get you, I just think the establishment of a Jewish state in Israel was as destructive to the region as separating India and Pakistan, and I think using religion as a basis for drawing geopolitical lines is stupid. History shows that doing so is a really, really bad idea.
