So just because someone can explain when they are not violating the Constitution you automatically believe them?
And no, of course not. But when the explanation is sound and the court backs them up more times than it does not, I believe it.Click the banner or episode links to visit the virtual continuations of Stargate!Previous Episode: 11x03 "Shore Leave" | Previous Episode: 6x04 "Nightfall" | Now Airing: 3x06 "Eldest"The Continuing Stargate Wiki | Stargate: Avalon l The New "Ark of Truth" | Stargate: Universe Reviews | Banner designs by Alx

The constitution is a loosely-made, broad, and barebones document. And I don't think there's a clause that says "you cannot lie to the press."
And I think the administration have a white house press secretary whose job is to say things and don't really lie, but just say things tactfully that bends and spins the truth. And by your rather high standards, all the presidents have been lying then.

I make no quibbles about it, and I do not whine and moan and complain about it. he thinks that Fox News is a Republican propaganda machine, I know thanks to actually watching Fox News that this is a ridiculous and wrong overgeneralization. But yet I could still be wrong too and this is also in the end a matter of opinion. But based on the facts that I have learned and seen on Fox they are many things, a Propaganda machine...for anyone...is not one of them.
A leaked memo from Fox News vice president Bill Sammon to the News staff during the height of the debate over Health care reform in the United States has been cited as an example of the pro-Republican party bias of Fox News. His memo asked the staff to "use the term ‘government-run health insurance,’ or, when brevity is a concern, ‘government option,’ whenever possible." This memo was sent shortly after Republican pollster Frank Luntz advised Sean Hannity on his Fox show that: "If you call it a public option, the American people are split," he explained. "If you call it the government option, the public is overwhelmingly against it."Click the banner or episode links to visit the virtual continuations of Stargate!Previous Episode: 11x03 "Shore Leave" | Previous Episode: 6x04 "Nightfall" | Now Airing: 3x06 "Eldest"The Continuing Stargate Wiki | Stargate: Avalon l The New "Ark of Truth" | Stargate: Universe Reviews | Banner designs by Alx
