Just got home from seeing Inception. A bit longer than it needed to be, but a good film nonetheless.

Cadillac Records - a new movie for me from 2008. About Leonard Chess and Chess records in the 50's and 60's. Which launched the carrers of Muddy Waters, Etta James, Howlin Wolf, Little Walter, and Chuck Berry. Came across it switching channels and it was quite interesting. It probably helps if you like the music.
Somethin the Lord Made was on HBO again today. It's a great made for HBO movie about Alfred Blaylock and Vivien Thomas pioneering new surgical techniques and the 1st cardiac surgery. Mos Def does a great job.sigpic

Last movie I saw was Wild Wild West, with Will Smith, etc.
I loved the movie as a kid, and while parts of it had me going "OMG SERIOUSLY?", I thought it was, overall, a pretty decent movie. If you don't pay too much attention to their attempt at plot.Comment
