Errr...I'm confused. Do you mean you watched the 1982 movie that starred Kurt Russell which was a remake of the 1951 movie The Thing From Another World or do you mean the 2011 movie because if you do then it isn't a remake its a prequel to the 1982 movie.

Was alright but is almost a carbon copy of the first film.
Worth a watch but I wouldn't recomend it being added to your collection.
