Bah. That sucks... Forgot how Disney screws with home releases.
Anybody who wants this for their home library better purchase while they can. They are likely to use the same "limited time release" system they do for the kids movies.

You think one of the most profitable movies of all time (a little over two billion dollars so far) from one of the most well known franchises ever created is going to be "limited release"?

When Disney runs that "buy one classic animated movie get one free" deal, that's a special offer.. meant to boost sales during traditionally slow periods.. They're still available for the rest of the year..

Maybe not in your country, but in the US, Disney has a long history of releasing it's kids movies such as Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella, and such for limited periods, after which they are withdrawn from distribution for X number of years in order to build up a pent-up demand for them.

Its fairly common for Region 1 (North America) to get DVD releases before Region 2 (Europe).

But it's released on Tuesday.. I'm at the hospital on Monday and Wednesday so I wouldn't be able to enjoy it anyway..

Not that it's being released here on Tuesday..
