I'll admit I'm no researcher but I always thought a control group was a group of similar subjects that you don't treat or give like a placebo to determine if the group that you are treating will respond to your drug or treatment by comparing the results of the two groups.

So I SQ was going to volunteer as the insane one to NOT be treated to be the control group for the Annoyed (insane one) who WILL Be tested.
