This is an embarrassing question...but how do you assign rep points...I'm getting the oddest feeling that I am the only one on this forum who doest know

There's a grey scale in between the post number and a red warning triangle, at the top of every post. Click that scale, and you'll see the words "I approve" and "I disapprove", meaning green and red respectively.

Now, go forth into the world (meaning the board, of course) and green point away!
