My 14 year old niece loves Twitter. But mostly because Neil Gaiman and Alice Cooper have replied to her - I think that would fall under Hats' "validation from famous strangers" thing.

I was just pricing notebook computers on Amazon. The prices are great. That's good to know since my desktop is 61/2 years old and I'm getting nervous. I like this new threading technology. I read that it solves the problem of your computer slowing down when your anti-virus comes on and it's supposed to be helpful for creating videos. I want wifii and a webcam, too.

Grad School update. Did I mention here that I was applying to grad school? I was accepted, but they wanted me to take some extra classes before I start (ugh, Calculas).
Has anybody taken the Miller's Analogy Test? That's what they require instead of the GRU. I thought it was very difficult. but I scored in the top 10%. Yea! I guess my brain hasn't been fried yet.

Good to know.
And I'm pretty sure you mentioned the grad thing before. I remember shuddering at the thought of having to take math classes. I am going to have to google the test thing, but congrats on the high score!sigpic
Don't try to pull any crap on Magnus... if you know what's good for you.
