First off, let me thank everyone who has taken the time to peruse the Hide-out. I know it's highly unlikely that this thread will not be lost amongst the dozens of other out there, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try.
I suppose I should introduce myself and explain the purpose of the thread.
My name is Katrina and I'm a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher. My eldest child is fifteen. He's in the 10th grade, and my youngest is six and in the first grade. As a homeschool parent, I spend a great deal of time searching the web for homeschool advice, curriculums and interesting sites.
Over the past few years, I have come across several other Stargate fans who also homeschool and I thought this might be a nice way to meet other HMSchoolers, perhaps exchange ideas, interesting sites, or just drop-in and say hi on occassion. So if you are a student, a parent, or someone who is simply interested in getting more information on homeschooling, please feel free to leave a message.
I'd really love to hear from you.
Kat
