I'm not really that big of a Kenny Rogers fan in general, but this song was a pretty big deal back then. Are there any of you my age that can't sing at least the chorus from memory? Plus there were a whole slew of movies that came from it, weren't there? I think I only saw the first one but if I recall correctly, Bruce Boxleitner was kind of cute in it.

EDIT - this may require an Aintright ruling. I checked and it wasn't in the previous regular tourneys but somehow made it's way into the twisted tourney So I'm not sure if that excludes it from this tourney or not.

EDIT EDIT: okay so I'm to fussy in some areas and I did some further checks. The single was released in 1978 but the album was released in 1977. So per our usuage you'll have to wait till the next tourney.

Not sure why someone put it in the twisted tourney. That should have been caught somewhere.
