GW Babe's Fave Song Tourney ~ Super Sonic Sixties 64/65

    Pukeko, the skirt thing these people are wearing is a Piupiu, a Kumera is a type of sweet potato, a huhu grub is exactly what it looks like (and people eat them. They taste like Peanut butter), the things being twirl'd are Poi, this is a pipi shell and these are some people collecting pipi. And the Haka... Here are a bunch of videos of the All Blacks doing their one.

    And Puha... I think someone said it was a little like Watercress... You can have it in salad and stuff. I've never had it though.

      I could sing a few for yah!! but you would be in BIG trouble because you can't cover your ears since they are stapled to that horse and well i can't carry a tune in a bucket sooo..... you are spared .... Merry Christmas!!

        ok!!! the Pukeko -- the cool birds that run on the ground?? if sooooo they were my fave animal while i was there -- i chased several around -- they were purple and black and such personality -- i had a blast with them!!
        Saw the skirts, didn't eat Kumera, saw some Maori dancing with the Poi, missed the pipi, and i learned about and saw the ALL BLACKS, got to see them in action -- so that is the Haka!!! cool!!!

        thanks for the memories -- all good!!

        except for the grub -- they eat those don't they?????

          YAY! Pipi are actually quite nice. We used to go down to the beach and spend an hour or so fishing some up, then we would use the little gas stove thing to fry them till thye popped open and slurped them out with tomato sauce

                          GG, could you take out all the songs that already IN from the long list ?? so we'll know which one to add on to the list... I really can't think of any new song.. maybe new singer singing the same song.. like Mariah Carey

                                Can I play even though I'm Jewish?

                                Most of my favorites are already through, but I'll provide the third vote for Carol of the Bells and think about my other 9 votes.
