Gosh, I missed a round

I'm in the southern part of Sydney so I think we're roughly in the same latitude (34S)

How does everyone else celebrate around the world?

In my family we gather together on Xmas eve, not Xmas day (which is when we eat the left overs… ). Some of us go to Mass at 9.00 or 10.00 pm (sadly not all of my family is religious), and then we have dinner, usually cold things, like salads, cold meat, vittel thone (one of my mother’s traditionals), and things like that. At midnight we toast, and then it’s present time!!!
Although it’s probably not wise to have nuts and that sort of things (it’s usually 30ºC – 86ºF), we just can’t resist chocolate almonds!!!

What are some of the Spanish songs you like? How do you celebrate Christmas?

IOU on that, I don’t have time now, but I promise I’ll add some of my favourites…

Ainty's Hippo kinda cute.... it only eating Candy-cane

whaddya mean by cannibal ? does Hippo eat their kind or does they eat human ?? I remember watching old Tarzan (Johnny Weissmuller one) movie, it showed the Hippos biting & eating humans... considering they have big-rounded-teeth ... that's gotta HURT!
