GW Babe's Fave Song Tourney ~ Super Sonic Sixties 64/65
137 trick-or-treaters! I went through 9 bags of candy and I just had to turn a little girl away at 8:15 because I don't have any more.
ETA: Make that 6 kids I've had to send away. And some of them were scary teen-agers! *is scared of egging*
Hopefully no eggs for you...I know my brother was worried about TP on his street.
We had maybe 20...last year 50...in my neighborhood its hit or miss for how many we get so I am told. A street 2 over from ours though they get 400 kids on average. Some of my tennis ladies were talking about it (some live on it some trick or treat it); the street is the perfect length with the perfect number of houses to fill up a pumpkin...so if the kiddies feel they need more candy then they head to our street

Being an engineer (pronounced: Nerd) I never understood that cliché. But after a cheeky google, apparently it's an origami joke. I guess the way I didn't laugh at the profound revelation is roughly equivalent to the exact same way some (pronounced: normal) people don't laugh at phsyics gags like I do.
*snort* (If I had glasses i'd make sure I was pushing them up my nose right now. But imagine I did.)

Our house growing up was always really, really busy on Halloween. The street we lived on was a boulevard so you just went up one one side and down the other (unless you wanted to go through the tunnel, past the school and then over to the streets on the other side - but that would waste precious candy-getting time). Since we were the last street before you hit the farms, a lot of country kids would be dropped by their parents at the end of the street - the parents knew that there was no where for them to wander off to.
I had a good night trick or treating last night with my boss' kids. And her daughter apparently doesn't like chips, pretzels, certain chocolate bars and tootsie rolls... so guess what I have?
