I hope someone can help me out also? Any tips on developing social skills? Never have had good social skills. I always make things awkward anywhere i go

I like what WingedPegasus had to say and I would second that. Just try your best to relax and discover what you may have in common and then stick to that! I find that talking about TV shows, movies, games or hobbies work best. I would avoid politics or religion until you get to know a person better. Humor (but not forcing it) helps to break the ice and be willing to laugh at yourself and just have fun! You'll get the hang of it before you know it.

I meant in general, but yeah, they are the largest factor. Retail also generally forces you to be part of a team.
