~~~ my mom used to sing this song to my little sister and I every night when we were younger. This song has a very powerful message to me because as I hear it I can feel my mom stroke my hair back away from my face the way she did when she would sing this song to us. I can hear mom's voice singing with it in my mind, just a memory, just like the song is about. even though I wish it wasn't that's how it will always be for me, and it hurts. if you think this is stupid, you try being in my shoes, trying to type this out through the fog of tears that are being called forth by the memory of the mother you loved with all your heart and will never see again, you can never tell her to her face that you love her and even with each passing moment, the memory of the sound of her voice is slipping through your fingers like sand through a seive.

Sorry bout that... but it was rather theraputic...
