How sad, it took me two seconds to think of who you were talking about. To be fair, you didn't have the lyrics exactly correct. It's Keith Urban. That song is on the CD Golden Road, which I own. But he seems to be crossing over a bit, because my friend says she hears him on her radio station, and it's not a country station.

That's the chap! Whatever, I knew it was something about holes, money and jeans. Yeah, he seems to be kind of half country, half modern...I don't know what genre to call it, the stations that play Shakira, U2, Rolling Stones, Kanye West, etc. He's a versitile little guy.
