She's quite good. But I did recognize some riffs as being from classic hard rock songs. 70's era? But I can't name a single one. At least not after I've been talking to Jack.

It's literally "moonlight sonata", 3rd movement by Beethoven, it's just being played on an electric guitar rather than a piano. Yes, it's sped up, yes it has a different background track but note for note it's classical music.
This is why so many metalheads love classical as well, there is that power and richness of sound that you might not find in other styles. You are a classic rock fan, and I love rock as well but it has a different.... vibe to it. KISS is an awesome band, for rock, and rock crosses that bridge between soul and Jazz. Metal crosses the divide between classical and rock.
It's energy, raw power and technical brilliance is utterly mind blowing when they are combined.
It's like when Aerosmith and Run DMC did "Walk this way". Two styles that on the surface should make no sense to be connected BUT when smashed togeather -right- they are lit as hell!!
Ahh music, the universal language, I love it so.
