As a consolation prize, the championship games tend to be better, closer fought battles. If only because the opponents know each other better. So you're probably in for one heck of a game.
I'm not sure why I'm even taking the time to think about this. I have nothing to lose. So I'll just pick the teams I want to win.
Me, too. Lonestar would have to pick the opposite of me to have any chance of catching up, so while I don't have the no worries picks you can have, I'm not going to worry about it.

Outside of Drew Brees (love everything he did for the Bolts), I really have no interest in any of these teams. I may or may not watch the NFC Championship for him. If not, the next stop for me is the draft, which they've managed to make screwy this year. It's now on three days.
This is almost the worst possible outcome of teams available. If the Jets win it all, we'll never hear the end from Rex Ryan and the New York fans. If Minnesota wins, the media will never stop drooling over Farve. If New Orleans wins, everyone will question whether the Bolts made the right move in keeping Rivers and ditching Brees. If Indianapolis wins, the media will never stop raving about Manning.

That's going to happen whether they win anymore games or not.
Sounds like you're a San Diego or nothing kind of fan. Which is ok - I'm that way in Baseball with the Cardinals. But in football, probably because with the exception of 3 yrs, St Louis teams have been pretty non existant in the playoffs so you get used to it. Plus with a lot less games and more on tv of other teams than baseball, it's easier to follow other and root for other teams.

I don't care who wins. The NFC needs to step up their damn game this year. I'll cry if either of these AFC teams wins the Super Bowl.
