    Myst fans?

Is anyone out there a fan of the Myst game series? If so, your place is on this thread. I personally have been playing since the beginning of the franchise, and still love the games.

I think there's another thread somewhere, possibly in the Sci Fi folder, that deals with the Myst saga (or maybe it was just the latest one) but I'm too tired to try and find it.

Loved Myst. Took me a very frustrating, dream-tortured, agonizing week to complete and David is probably VERY lucky thoughts don't kill or he'd be dead a million times over for introducing me to the game.

I have Riven, now, but the DVD version I got won't play on my comp and I had trouble with the CDROM version, too. Although I only tried that once and am still waiting for my annoyance levels to drop enough to try again. *sigh* I think I wasn't meant to play any of the others. But I did like Myst.

Oooh! I loved Myst! I found the scenery very serene and peaceful. I could meditate just looking at the screen!

A little frustrating, though. I've only played at a store at the mall they had on PCs in the store and I couldn't figure any of the instruments out.

Yeah, I like the games. I haven't played in a while, but they are interesting to me, as is the concept behind the games as well.
The success or failure of your deeds, does not add up to the sum of your life. Your spirit cannot be weighed! Judge yourself by the intentions of your actions, and by the strength with which you faced the challenges that have stood in your way. The Universe is so vast, and we are so small, there is only truly one thing we can control; whether we are good or evil... -Oma Desala

I am currently playing URU, but have had a bit of a stumper...even got the hint book, but still can't get this one part right. I've been playing it for almost one year....I must admit that I don't play much anymore, as I spend an insane amount of my time at Gateworld. The graphics are just awesome! I love the Myst games, and even the books that are out as well.
