Well one good thing about short seasoned shows like this....you CAN watch a whole season in a single day. Although better for a weekend, but it can be done in a day. (Downton Abbey can be done a season a day)

I found and watched an old movie - like Kirk Douglas was the hero old - The Vikings...intrigued by the name. And there was Ragnar - played by Earnest Borgnine and King......oh his name escapes me but it's another character that's also in this show.

That's how I got hooked on the show. I gave it a pass when it aired, thinking it was just some documentary. Then got the dvds on a whim, watched, and was hooked.

I can't believe that it has been nearly 2 years since this first premiered. I have been loving every second of it since then, and tonight was no exception. Though it was a bit slow to start I am looking forward to see where it will be going.

Spoiler:

A bit sad that the enemy uncle died so soon. Same actor that portrays Meryn Trant in GoT and I was hoping to see a bit more of his acting since he mostly just stands there and acts like a **** in GoT
