JAG Discussion/Appreciation

Thanks to CBS Drama here in the UK I've been able to catch up on JAG. I enjoy watching the show.

I used to love that show. I don't think I ever saw any episodes with Meg though, because I can't remember her at all. I just used to enjoy the chemistry between Mac and Harm a lot. They were probably my first ship, long before I knew that meant anything but boats on water or in space.

Meg appeared in the first season. And in flashbacks in an episode in one of the later seasons.

What really got me about JAG was that the 1st season ended on a cliffhanger. But the second season began as if the events in that last episode had never happend. I do know they revisited the story later in the series and resovled that storyline.

Same here, starfist, and I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it too!

I thought all the characters were wonderfully played, but always had a soft spot for Bud. I loved watching him grow through the series from nerdy ensign, through his marriage to Harriet and the trauma of losing his leg, to the settled husband and father that you see in the final episode. I don't know if Patrick Labyorteaux received any awards for that storyline where Bud loses his leg, but he certainly deserved to!

I liked watching the Bud/Harriet ship develop. The earlier scenes of them together makes me smile.

I believe that CBS Drama is showing season 7 at the moment.

I am looking forward to finally seeing season 9.
CBS Drama, here in the UK, is starting to air season 9 from Monday 8th April at 1700.
Hopefully continuing with season 10...?

Season nine is actually the one DVD set that I don't have!

I actually watch it on CBS Drama.
What drove me mad was... As an example :They would show seasons 1 through 7. Then go back and start showing season 1 again.

But what I do like is... They show JAG twice a day. The previous days epsiode at 1100 and a 'new' episode at 1700.

I don't have CBS Drama. Then again, I don't need it to watch JAG.

I don't usually get to see JAG during the week, since I'm either at work, or on my way in. But I loved this series!

I have the first five series on DVD, but had to stop getting them as part of a general overhaul on my budget! But I had seen the series right through already on the old Hallmark Channel, it was always one of my 'must see' programmes.

I'll have to try and record some of these CBS Drama eps. It'll give me something to watch on those nights when I can't find anything to watch!

I'll have to watch this all again eventually. I bought seasons 1-4 (as I said at the beginning of this thread) but I still have not watched them. I wanna get the other seasons but they are quite pricey in comparison for what I bought these for. I want them..but not that badly.

Just had a quick look at these crossovers, Sparky - wow, quite a few of them! I'm going to try and read a few over the weekend.
