The story starts out in 1899 but in the opening episode there is a freak electrical storm and they are all catapulted into contemporary time. Still in the state of Texas they have to not only deal with each other, but the modern world. There is one scene where a TV set is on with a western show and lots of gun play. One of the guys shoots it because he thinks the characters on the screen are after him. Cool idea, very funny...alas didn't fly.
I think i recall that one. At one point the wanted to get the gold they stole & buried somewhere, but it was a shopping mall in modern times. And I think that someone came across a grand-kid or great grand-kid at some point.

      Just remembered one more:

Cimarron Strip with Stuart Whitman - just loved it although I'm not a fan of western stuff.

      Edit: Miami Vice

I saw this on another thread (at least, I think I did), and thought it appropriate to repeat here.

        Legend is coming to DVD.

In the US, Mr. Ed isn't as forgotten as some of these others.

If we're reaching way back, though, does anyone other than me remember Run Buddy Run?

As a matter of fact I do remember the title - but that's it. I'll dig!

It's extremely obscure, on for a single season almost 50 years ago. I was in first grade at the time, and I loved the show. I remember being really disappointed that it was cancelled.

I think it was 'Renn, Buddy, renn' in German - that's all I remember.

Yeah, but Dish Network won't get that channel anymore, and that's what we have...

Have you checked OTA? It is often carried as a sub channel of a broadcast channel; 10.1, 13.2 or some such.

I don't think I agree that Dick Van Dyke, Father Knows Best or My Three Sons are shows time forgot. They were all (for their time) long running shows that were subsequently syndicated.

The rest of those I agree are forgotten.
