OMG! Now my third sitcom is ending. Officially announced that Parks and Recreation is ending after next season. Now I NEED Denny's just to feel like a Fat Dog winner.

Gillian Jacobs just joined the cast of Girls, but she can do both.

A couple of things:
1) This happens to a few shows after the cancellation events. They more often fail than succeed.
2) If it comes down to it Gillian's Community contract would take precedence over others shows because it is older. If they are filmed at different times of the year then it doesn't matter.
3) I like pie and bacon

I agree, but I am hoping Dan Harmon really wants to keep going so I think he'll fight hard and that he may have enough clout to get it done. I think it is well known that the show has a following and many, myself included, follow it through Hulu. The question is if they get the deal will they be able to do it and do it well on what will likely be a very limited budget.

And pie and bacon are on my list as well. . . .unfortunately for my weight it is a VERY long list.

Most creators of TV shows "fight hard" to get their series to continue after cancellation. The sad reality is most of them fail. It would be ignorant to say Community has a cult following. This is true. But shows with a cult following fail all the time. I'm looking at you Firefly. I don't want others to think I want this effort to fail. I don't but I know the reality of how successful these efforts can be.

Weight is a state of mind. What is the point of living if you can't enjoy the good things?
