What I hate is during a crisis they're about to tell each other they love the other then when the dust clears she goes back to her longhair dude and everyone is like nothing happened... Writers suck get them together and be done with it already

Ah but that would kill the suspense! I think it's more they just want to make sure they have more of a climax for getting them together. Or who knows, maybe they NEVER will get together.
