I recently started watching the PBS Masterpiece version of Around the World in 80 Days starring David Tennant. I mainly watched because I'm a Doctor Who fan and Tennant is my favorite Doctor. I was expecting it to be a typical British period piece, slow and drawn-out. Was I wrong, it's got a lot of action, great locations and it's a great story. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
