I was just wondering if there's actually supposed to be a reason for this. Perhaps it's because of the different design of the pegasus stargates..i don't know, but I'd like to find out.

I've never had a problem with that really cool look that SG-1 gives us into going through a wormhole. But with Atlantis it's like we're actually in a really long tunnel through space, and if you look closely there are times when they make a sharp turn while going through a pegasus wormhole and you can actually see long parts of the tunnel that haven't even been passed through yet.

I do like the sensation the "new" Atlantis wormholes give. It feels more like you're travelling in a small "tunnel through space".
New and improved Stargate = new and improved wormhole?
