Really? I wouldn't think so. Vader wouldn't be moving fast enough to activate the shield. Besides, lightsabers cut through anything- personal defense shields included.

Well, now there's a can of worms. Of course it's a moot point since the old throat-crush ploy would bypass any energy shield; always assuming Vader didn't just walk up and lamp the Goa'uld in the face. He is a mighty cyborg Sith Lord after all.

Storm Trooper vs. Anubis Warriors?
It would have to be the Kull Warrior.

The Storm Trooper armor is only ablative- it slows down energy transfer by burning off armor, rather than allowing it all to hit the Trooper. Basically works like a bulletproof vest- makes a hit survivable. The Kull armor acually collects and dissipates energy- of all kinds. So none of the energy actually hits the Warrior. Their armor would be just as effective against bolt/blast weapons as against projectile and plasma. It would be interesting to see how the Trooper armor works against Staff weapons and Zats.

1) I'm not kicking and screaming, the fact remains Imps have 200 gigaton weapons, and Goa'uld have 200 megatons ones. Do the math, who has more firepower.
2) I'm not a "warsie i actually prefer Stargate, but Star Wars would deal Stargate a imperiel smackdown in a fight. They have a thousand times the firepower of SG.
3) Even "warsies" admit somethings can defeat Star Wars, the culture for instance.

Just on the first one, A System Lord would blast Vader away with their hand device if he tried a force choke, then a Staff Weapon to his malformed head would finish him off
