Where does the movies fit in?

Im currently at season 7 of stargate SG-1, and i just learned that there are movies about the series too, but i have not been able to find out which seasons they fit in. in i do not want to read about the movies, because i do not want any spoilers :/

the first movie ark of truth, takes place right after season 10 of sg-1. and continnum takes place after sga season 4.

There's the original movie the series is based on, simply titled Stargate. This was made three years before SG-1 premiered on TV. The show was on for ten years. It was cancelled for being too expensive to produce, and at the last minute at that. To resolve two major storylines, two movies were made: Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum.
