The Stargate SG-1 comics published by Avatar Press, are - 2003 Convention Special, P.O.W. #1-3, 2004 Convention Special, Fall of Rome Prequel, Fall of Rome #1-3, and Aris Boch #1.

So far they're pretty good, although the character likenesses could do with a little bit of work.

Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.

Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

i've read most of them...i always wait for all of a multi-parter to come out before i read it

the art is ok, but the likenesses to the actors needs work
the stories are rather simple. of course, i guess how much story can you tell in just a few pages of artwork?

i tend to read them for the novelty than any real story value

right now avatar's main weakness is their sporatic production. It's hard to keep up with a comic book line when they don't come out regularly

oh you are so right about them being sparodic-thank goodness the place i get my comics know their products. I just give them my subscription request and when the comic shows up they pull em for me.

same here. i have a friend who works for a comic store and she pulls my copy for me

i've seen more of the smaller books go out of business because of publication issues. comic buyers tend to be creatures of habit (i used to be one...i think my local comic store declared a day of mourning when i stopped reading them) and if books are delayed constantly, people forget to buy them

You should be able to pick them up at your nearest specialist Comics Store - Forbidden Planet for example.
