it was brought in the faith thread. i loved it when the location was used in bsg but sgu used othera areas and made it look even better

The scenes in Faith were filmed at a place called Widgeon Creek/Marsh, off Pitt Lake in Grant Narrows Regional Park. I asked Brian Smith when I met him at a con to confirm if this was the case and he said it was. 'Paradise Lost' was filmed there too.

It's not far from where I live and I go up to the lake quite a lot, it's lovely there, my chill out place. You can hire canoes and paddle up Widgeon Creek in the summer months. I haven't done that yet, I've got to find someone who is willing to do most of the paddling since I injured my right shoulder a while back.
