Hey i was looking for a thread that i couldn't find about why they never showed why if carson and o'neill like fishing why they never went together. i know its kind of stupid but i think it would have been funny to see.

Because they were from two different shows at different times. It probably would have been hard to get the actors to work around a schedule just for a scene like that unfortunately.
