syncing sg-1 and atlantis

hi.

is there a some sort of list or principle i can use to synchronize my viewing of sg-1 and atlantis?

i've been watching sg-1 and have gotten into it. i've passed up the point where atlantis shoots off, but i haven't been watching atlantis. now there are references to atlantis cropping up in sg-1. i'd like to view both series in the way that makes the most sense.

Yes, and if you want to go one step further look at the Original Air Date (US) of each episode. SG-1 always aired right before SG-A if the dates match up.

But if you re-watch The Seed(502), I think it's Sheppard that says that Carter has been quarantined in The SGC due to that wraith thing that got into everybody in Michaels compound(501). In Continuum however, (OUR)Carter was in that alternate-timeline for a year before Baa'l atacked Earth in that timeline. Therefore, Continuum must be set some-time after The Seed, otherwise Carter would have been taken over just like Keller.
And been in the alternate-timeline, would have died long before the attack.

If that makes sense. I just put Continuum after Broken Ties as I think Ronon says something to Tayla about Kenan been scared of the showers on Atlantis.
This suggests it has not been that long after he was rescued.(501)

well atlantis starts in season 8 of sg1 . so from then on in id watch one episode of sg1 then one of atlantis . that way ur doing it lyk it was aired on tv . cant really go wrong

That list seems to be the most accurate way of watching stargate.

One of the things we do know, is that Prometheus Unbound (season 8) is sometime before Letters from Pegasus (Season 1)

as they hadn't had any contact with them.

Since Torri is in SGA and was last seen in the 3rd or so ep of Season 8. Given the time delay of researching in the Ancients outpost (probably about 6 or so episodes), the episodes realistically don't actually sync up.

i don't think so.... they sync up very well. the problem in atlantis and SG-1 is time. From one episode to another they can jump weeks, or months. the diferent time in the two series is related to that, too...
