I forgot that goa'uld ships that can travel faster than 10c were new at this point in the series. I wonder if given that the goa'uld transport capabilities would have then been carried out primarily by stargate up until that point, if the vast improvement to goa'uld hyperdrive technology made the end of the feudal system among the goa'uld inevitable.
