It was "do ya think it gets Showtime?" The joke of course in being SG-1 was shown on showtime at the time.

Appearantly, there is another version of that episode in which Jack says "Mmmmm... Goa'uld TV" instead of the Showtime line. I think it airs on SciFi and in US syndication.

I thought Colonel Maybourne and scientists ware able to find out how it works?Remember the episode where Jack stole some technology of the Tollans.A thing that could disable weapons.He was punished and had to retire and then Maybourne came and told O'Neill about the job where they could get everykind of technology.On the plain Maybourne used such a telly ball device where they could see the persons who stole the weatherdevice from Madrona and who stole the Beta gate from stoorage and replaced it with a plastic one.

That would make sense, as Showtime is a reg'd trademark.
