P.S, has anyone noticed that the new grey on-base uniforms, all of them have a giant tare on the back? Why is that? I mean, why would they all have the same exacty tare on the back of their jackets?

That tare is there to allow more freedom of movement. Like when moving their arms and such. The Jackets would be constricting otherwise. Makes the Jackets more flexible (for them) I think.

Back in my Army days I wore BDUs that had no tare in thge back, and they pulled up on the sleeves something serious when you stretched. The SGA unis allow for more freedom of movement, so they're good in my book.

Plus I'm sure Teyla has a small thin knife on the inside tare of her uniform.
